Last updated: 20 March 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account on Campus Revival Movement (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Campus Revival Movement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental or guardian consent. Campus leaders seeking verified status must be enrolled at or employed by an accredited institution.
3. User-Generated Content
3a. What you may post
Prayer requests, journal entries, and campus adoption commitments must be sincere, personally authored, and relevant to Christian intercessory prayer for university campuses.
3b. Prohibited content
You must not post content that:
- Is false, misleading, or impersonates another person or institution
- Contains personal data of others without their consent
- Is abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful
- Promotes or solicits commercial products or services
- Violates any applicable law, including UK data protection law
3c. Licence you grant us
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content marked as public, you grant Campus Revival Movement a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it to other users of the Platform for the purpose of collective intercession. Private journal entries are never shared. You may delete your content at any time.
3d. Moderation
We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any public prayer request that violates these Terms. Our moderation queue exists to maintain the integrity and safety of the community. We will not remove content solely because it expresses a religious viewpoint.
4. Campus Leader Verification
The verified leader status is granted to individuals who demonstrate a genuine affiliation with a listed campus via an institutional email. Misrepresentation of affiliation is grounds for immediate account termination.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-submit content
- Attempt to circumvent authentication, rate limits, or security measures
- Probe for or exploit vulnerabilities (report them to us instead)
- Use the Platform to store or distribute malware
6. Termination
You may close your account at any time via your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your public content may remain in aggregate or anonymised form; your personal data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for the content of user-submitted prayer requests. To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to £100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
9. Changes to These Terms
We will give you at least 14 days’ notice of material changes by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
